This is our first meeting yet this year. We choose topics to discuss that will challenge you to dig deep, think and share your opinions with others. Its a perfect opportunity to learn some tips for engaging in difficult conversations with family and friends, too.

This month’s topic will be on Gender in American Society and Gender Equality. This will be a great opportunity to discuss your views on this topic in a civil way. And possibly gain some new perspectives and knowladge along the way.

Valentines Day Dinner

The Broad Street Grind will transform on February 14 as we host a Valentine’s Day Dinner for couples, lovers and those shot with Cupid’s arrow…. This will be a romantic 4 course candle lit meal, prepared by our Chef, Pam, and accompanied by a live harpist. This will be a BYOB event and the meal will be plated and served by our staff. There will be gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options available. Cost is $45 a person and seatings will be at 6 and 8 pm.

Stop into the shop, call, or message us to RSVP. But hurry, space fills up fast!

It will be a night full of fun with live music by Michael Covel, comfort food specials by Chef Pam, delicious beverage specials, and a fun 3D snowflake craft that is enjoyable for all ages! This will be a perfect night out for your family, taking your little ones out, or a night with friends!

BSG 3rd Friday Christmas Celebration

We will be hosting a very festive 3rd Friday at The Grind and you are invited! Here are the happenings:
-We will have live music & Christmas carols sang by two of our very talented baristas, Mollie and Ronni.
-For the first time ever we are putting on a Great Gingerbread House Decorating Showdown! All supplies and decorations included, just bring your creativity and clothing for the job! There are 10 spots available and its only a $10 entry fee! Winner will be rewarded a $25 BSG gift card and will be chosen based upon a poll set out by the customers. Come into the shop to reserve your spot in the contest!

Cake Decorating Workshop as BSG

The Broad Street Grind has teamed up with Amber Rae Cakes to host a unicorn cake decorating workshop! While learning how to decorate this adorable cake, Amber will teach the group multiple decorating techniques that can be used on many cakes to come! This is for all skill levels, ages 10 and up.

A Midsummer Nights' Dinner at the Broad Street Grind

This delectable dinner starts with a Golden Gazpacho with lump crab meat, followed by a micro greens Salad with a White Balsamic vinaigrette. The entree is a Beef Brisket Chimmichurri, with a sweet potato puree, grilled asparagus and zucchini. We finish the evening with a Pate Brisee Crust, sweetened cream cheese filling, fresh fruit and apricot glaze.  The menu is a fixed price of $39 per person. The Grind is BYOB friendly.

Join us for the third and final conversation this spring in our ongoing evenings of civil conversation.  Our first event focused on the impact of Social Media on how we speak with one another.  Our second evening focused on the subject of gun control and gun violence in our communities and schools.

Our May gathering will focus around issues of Gun Control & Gun Violence in our schools and communities.  Serving as our moderator this month is Philip Hanner, a trained facilitator, counselor and Anglican clergyman and his wife Rebecca.
